Why is Clipchamp removing the iOS mobile app?
We have found most users prefer editing their video projects on our web and desktop applications. In order to deliver high-value features and improvements, we are focusing our efforts on these applications to benefit users.
When is this change happening?
Changes to the Clipchamp iOS app begin June 6, 2026. After this date, any video projects not exported to your mobile device will be deleted.
What will happen to the Clipchamp iOS app after June 6, 2026?
After this date, users are encouraged to uninstall the app from their device as the Clipchamp iOS app will no longer be supported.
How to ensure my existing projects are not lost?

To ensure video projects are not lost, export to MP4 to save on your mobile device.

Uninstall and remove the Clipchamp mobile app from your mobile device.

Go to the Clipchamp web app on your desktop for new video projects.
Are there changes to the Clipchamp web and desktop applications?
The Clipchamp web and desktop applications will remain fully functional. There are no changes to these applications.
What features remain for Clipchamp Premium subscribers?
Clipchamp Premium subscribers will still have access to all the features available in their Clipchamp Premium subscription and have a maximum of 5 GB of cloud storage in OneDrive to save video projects. Projects saved to OneDrive are accessible across devices with your Microsoft Account.
